SmartLess: On the Road, a docuseries look at the popular podcast SmartLess hosted by Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett, follows the trio as they travel across the country filming star-studded live episodes including Will Ferrell, Matt Damon, and Kevin Hart. Between these three genuinely funny guys, their 25 years of friendship results in constant laughs, genuine appreciation for each other, and plenty friendly jabs.

When asked if filming the docuseries brought them closer, Bateman told USA Today, “I think that’s always there. We love each other so much. I feel like I’m my best self when I’m with them. I’m more parts of myself than I am with most people, aside from my family. I don’t have to be in a certain mood to want to hang out with them. So the opportunity to talk openly and honestly – and not comedically – we don’t even really have to think about it.”
