Million tons of textiles are going to waste, and unethical production often occurs in fast fashion. However, Nicole Boynton and Kara Livingston are gathering other moms in San Antonio to tackle these issues through upcycling, recycling, and making charitable donations.

Nicole and Kara’s business Hand Me Up collects preloved clothes and repurposes them into capsule clothes for children from 0 months to 6 years old. Additionally, they work with local charities to bring children's clothes to teen moms in need.

Hand Me Up not only saves the environment but also offers solutions to moms who don't know where to hand down their children's clothes. We feel inspired by these architects of change and how their business is uplifting the community and the customers. We encourage you to check out how you can support their mission here.
