Sunday Paper PLUS Recommends—Week of October 25, 2026
At The Sunday Paper, we often discover books, podcasts, shows, and other works that move the needle and spark inspiring change. This week, we are thrilled to hand the mic again to our Sunday Paper PLUS readers! Our thanks to Theresa, Lori, and Patti for their recommendations. We hope these suggestions open your heart and mind and encourage you to come together for meaningful conversations.
What Theresa Diulus Is Watching
These lawyers have us stuck in our seats every Thursday night. CBS’s newest drama, Cupertino, follows Michael Price and Olivia Siffre, two attorneys fired from the same tech company who start a scrappy firm of their own to represent everyday people against Silicon Valley’s biggest names. The cases come straight from today’s AI headlines, from chatbots that cross the line and algorithms making decisions no one can explain to a drone show gone terribly wrong. The creators of The Good Wife keep the courtroom sharp and the humor close behind. New episodes air Thursdays on CBS or stream on Paramount+.
What Lori Anding Is Reading
This Sunday Paper PLUS reader sent us Donna Ashworth’s newest book this week, and it’s an instant shared favorite of ours. We’ve spent a lot of time with Donna’s words here, so we’re not surprised she’s written something you can open to any page and still find inspiration. The Art of Being Easily Pleased: Words to Unlock a Wonderful Life mixes poems and essays with visualizations and drawings by Donna herself. Just like us, we hope you will keep this one by your side and return to it again and again.

What We’re Listening To
Women Over 70: Aging Reimagined has us aspiring to live fully in every decade, and especially not forgetting to in the ones still ahead. Catherine Marienau and Gail Zelitzky began with a plan to interview seventy women over seventy, and the conversations have kept going for hundreds of episodes. The women they talk to share how they found their purpose, bounced back from setbacks, and reinvented themselves more than once. Consider it a preview of what’s possible, whatever age you are.
