Happy New Year, my friends.

I hope I find you in a calm, centered, and connected state of mind this morning, the first Sunday of 2026. I know that might be hard given the breaking news about Venezuela and the unknowns that accompany this unfolding story, but I hope you have rituals or habits in place that help you stay present in the moment.

As we reconvene here this morning, I’d love to hear how you’ve been doing and feeling since we last connected. I hope you had time to reflect, play, and experience moments of joy over the holidays. And I hope you feel focused and optimistic about your life right now as you venture into the new year. I also hope you feel optimistic about our shared lives as citizens of this world. I really do.
