This past week, two bold stories won our hearts and further ignited our march toward radically changing the conversation around aging.

The first centers around the talented and beautifully irreverent Annie Lennox. A Twitter comment that asked “who is this?” about Lennox spurred the singer, songwriter, and Eurythmics legend to write back, “aging but still raging.”

We couldn’t agree more. Lennox embodies a drive and energy that transcends any age.

You can read more about Lennox and her inspired tweet in The Daily Mail.

In other inspired-aging news, we are captivated by the mindset and work of photographer Ellen Warner. Charged by the hard truth that many women after 50 feel invisible, Warner set forth to flip the narrative. She spent 15 years interviewing and snapping portraits of more than 40 women aged 50 and beyond—all across the globe. Her compilation is now on view in her new book: The Second Half: 40 Women Reveal Life After 50.

The women and stories range in backgrounds, demographics, race, and ideologies. It is an inspiring rallying cry that wisdom is not wasted on the young. In fact, we believe it is honored in those lucky to grow older, and Warner proves this in her work.

You can read even more about Warner’s story on MSNBC.
