At The Sunday Paper, we want to inspire you to gather at your table—virtually or with friends and family—and open your heart and mind to conversations that will move the needle. After all, the dinner table is where we connect on topics and map out the changes we can all make that’ll truly make an impact.

This week, to encourage your conversations, we recommend checking out the following:

What We're Watching:

The Janes is a powerful, important new documentary detailing a brave organization that organized safe abortions for women prior to the establishment of Roe v. Wade. Now, following the overturning of the landmark case on abortion, the documentary is more important than ever.

The Sunday Paper's Stacey Lindsay sat down with the creators of The Janes documentary. Read her incredible reporting here.

What We're Listening To:

This Fourth of July weekend, check out our fun-loving music playlist of America-inspired hits. Let it be the soundtrack of your holiday. Listen below:

What We're Eating:

We're recommending a twist on the classic idea of grilling out: Avocado Chicken Burgers. These burgers are both Paleo and Whole30 approved and look beautiful, too! Check out the recipe (originally from Rachel Mansfield's website) below:

Ingredients in Whole30 Chicken Avocado Burgers:

Ground chicken – I like a mix of light/dark meat

Ripe avocado, cut into chunks

Garlic clove – or use garlic powder instead

Sweet onion – or whatever onion you want

Sea salt and black pepper

Avocado oil

How to cook these healthier Avocado Chicken Burgers:

#1 First mix together the ground chicken, avocado, onion, garlic and salt and pepper in a large bowl

#2 Then heat a large skillet with some avocado oil and warm on medium-high heat

#3 Form into 4 patties and then add to skillet and cook on medium heat (I covered with a lid) and cook for about 10-12 minutes, flipping 1/2 way through

#4 Remove from heat and serve on a bun or in a bowl of choice.

#5 Finally serve with anything you’d like! I served mine with crispy sweet potato fries, leafy greens, pesto, avocado and veggies!
