At The Sunday Paper, we want to inspire you to gather at your table—virtually or with friends and family—and open your heart and mind to conversations that will move the needle. After all, the dinner table is where we connect on topics and map out the changes we can all make that’ll really move the needle.

This week, to encourage your conversations, we recommend checking out the following:

Where We're Donating:

Following the news of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, we at The Sunday Paper wanted to provide you with ways to support organizations that are on the frontlines supporting women's health. We recommend supporting:

Jackson Women's Health Organization in Mississippi is the clinic at the center of the Supreme Court's recent decision. We recommend supporting their efforts to continue fighting the good fight in Jackson. Check out their website here.

Per their website, Plan C is "an information campaign, started by veteran public health advocates, researchers, social justice activists and digital strategists." Their mission is to "transform access to abortion in the US by normalizing the self-directed option of abortion pills by mail." To learn more about their organization and to donate, go to their website here.

Planned Parenthood provides services, support, and advocacy for women's health across the entire country. Supporting them helps to support way more than abortion access, but an entire array of health services. Learn more about their mission and donate on their website here.

What We're Watching:

It may be hard to grasp, but the historic nature of the ongoing January 6th hearings is monumental. This moment is one to not take lightly. The heroic work of this January 6th Select Committee is bringing to light just how close Donald Trump was to fraudulently overturning the 2020 presidential election.

Thus far, we have witnessed firsthand accounts of people present at the insurrection on the Capitol, an attacked police officer, poll workers, and State officials who were directly pressured by the Trump campaign to falsely certify his win.

It is never too late to go back and watch the full hearings, or the highlights from each session. There are more hearings forthcoming in July, as well. To get informed and watch these historic hearings, go to the January 6th Committee's website: Watch previous hearings here or learn more here.

What We're Listening To:

Beyoncé surprised us all this week as she announced an upcoming album and released what is sure to be the song of the summer. The new song is a clubby, campy bop that is sure to pump you up when you need it the most (say, after a week like this past one). Listen to the song below, and stay tuned for Beyoncé's forthcoming album Renaissance which will drop on July 29.
